LODD Autonomous was founded in Abu Dhabi in May 2023 with a defined objective to design and certify a hybrid civil cargo aircraft developed entirely within the UAE. Its flagship aircraft, Hili, completed its first full-scale flight on November 13, 2025, at Emirates Falcons Aviation’s test facility in Al Ain.
